We make sure that all our artisans are fairly compensated for their beautiful masterpieces by supporting their freedom to control their own prices and working hours. Furthermore, 10% of every purchase goes to YKPA Streetchildren Project to support homeless locals who lost their home due to frequent earthquake in the country.

We often have promotions that are specifically for “followers” and registered users. Ofcourse! Salt and Tan processes all orders in USD but we do offer our customers the option to view prices in a variety of currencies when browsing and purchasing through our site. Selectable currencies include AUD, USD, GBP, CAD, EURO, HKD and NZD. When a currency is selected, the price is shown in the chosen currency according to the most recent exchange rate. Please note that the currency conversion shown is only a guide and the actual currency conversion that will be charged by your chosen payment method may vary. Upon checkout, all products and shipping methods will be shown in the chosen currency and customers will also see the amount ultimately charged in USD. If you want to know the exact amount you will be charged please check with your bank before making a purchase as currency conversion rates and fees vary.
We accept all major credit cards (American Express, Visa and MasterCard) in addition to PayPal, Google Pay and Apple Pay. Please note that registration is not required in order to place an order through PayPal Express Checkout. Additionally, note that Apple Pay may be deactivated for particular product releases.
It's coming, we promise! We ship all orders everyday except sunday and public holidays, usually within 48 hours after your purchase. Since all our items are sourced locally and are handcrafted by our artisans, your patience is much appreciated! Once we've shipped your order, it'll get there in about this long:

- 4 to 9 days to the US
- 1-3 days to HK, Macau & Taiwan
- 5 to 14 days internationally


Please note that the time it may take for your order to reach you may vary depending on your location and other factors such as logistic traffic and weather. Items may come in several packages as our storing warehouses are located in Indonesia, and in the 2 of the most interlinked air-freight hubs, Hong Kong and China. We will select the most suitable warehouse location according to the availability of the items ordered.
Although we are quite confident that this will not happen to quality controlled product, we still cannot ignore the possibility of any damage that happens during the logistic process. But don't you worry! If you do recieve an item with defects, kindly email us at hello@saltandtan.com with pictures attached. We will analyse your case and will schedule a an exchange for you immediately.

Our items really do sell out quick! Most items are restocked at the end of each month. If you don't see your item available at the end of the month, contact our staff at hello@saltandtan.com

Yes, Absolutely! Once your order is shipped you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number. You can track it in the "Track My Order" section on our website. Please allow tracking numbers 24 hours to update.
